China Coat 2010

As the world's confused business community still contemplates what went wrong during the year 2007-09, the coatings industry in China meanwhile has still achieved remarkable performance:

¡¤ An estimated 6.3m tons in 2008 Coatings output increased from 5.09m tons in 2006
¡¤Sales revenue rose by 17.8%
¡¤Output of industrial paint rose by 16.2% to 4.18m tons
¡¤Chinese car market overtook Japan in 2007
¡¤First four months in 2009 saw China surpassing US in total car sales
¡¤China is now the largest producer of powder coatings

And yet there are reasons to believe why this amazing rise and rise can continue without interruption. With maturing of paint market in China, specialisation in high value-added products will emerge as the key to profitability. Live From American Coatings Show
The first American Coatings SHOW in 2008 was a great success. Now, all eyes are focused on Charlotte in April 13 - 15, 2010 for the next show - because, once again, the show and conference will be the best source of inspiration and trend-setting in the industry.

Featuring 331 exhibitors, the first American Coatings SHOW hosted 5,600 industry attendees from 48 countries. Visitors gained immediate access to timely information about state-of-the-art developments in raw materials, laboratory and production equipment, testing and measuring equipment, and services for the coatings industry.

Once again, the 2010 American Coatings SHOW will set the trend for future developments in the paint and coatings industry.

The American Coatings Association (formerly NPCA|FSCT) and Vincentz Network, together with N¨¹rnbergMesse North America, have designed an outstanding industry event. While offering many parallels to the European Coatings SHOW, the American Coatings SHOW will provide a strategic and operational alignment that will be invaluable to our industry.
